Exploring the Chakras Through Sound
Thursday August 3rd 6-7:30pm
Everything vibrates and where there is vibration… there is sound. With the help of the Himalayan Crystal Singing Bowls we will explore the 7 Chakras of the body which include the Root, Sacral, Solar Plexus, Heart, Throat, Third Eye and Crown. Each Chakra corresponds to specific glands, organs and facets of your being. Each singing bowl is specifically tuned to a Chakra frequency and the sound emitted from the bowls induce a sense of peacefulness and ease. There are seven major chakras, plus many minor ones. In this workshop you will not only experience the relaxing and perhaps profound effects of the singing bowls but you will also learn about the elements, colors, behavioral attributes and physical locations associated with the Chakras. Workshops & Retreats
Workshops give you the opportunity to study, practice and refine a specific aspect of Yoga, with direct instruction from an experienced teacher. Workshops are an excellent way to compliment and inspire your regular practice, and bring new skills and insights onto your yoga mat, and into your daily life.
Retreats – take yourself out of your daily life and immerse yourself into your yoga practice. Retreats offer you the opportunities to unplug, unwind and sink in! Many retreats offered, allow you to plan your time around scheduled yoga classes, but you may also have the option to follow a more structured wellness itinerary. Sanctuary organized retreats often offer on-site life coaching, Ayurveda consultations, light therapy, sound therapy, journaling and discussions for self-discovery. Yoga retreats help you break away from familiar routines and help you to move out of your comfort zone into a space of growth, new people and new places.
